iQuit at HiTOPS - A Smoking Cessation Program from HiTOPS Adolescent Health Care

This is a web based program that uses podcasts, text messages, and videos to support adolescents trying to quit smoking. A series of 6 podcasts that can be played on the computer or downloaded to an ipod gives youth tips on how to quit and the text message service gives youth a month of daily support in the cessation process.

Part of COPS' Problem- Specific Guide Series , the guide provides police with information about the causes and extent of bullying in schools and includes recommendations for developing practices and policies that promote student safety.

The R.E.C. Boyz

The R.E.C. (Real Enought 2 Change) Boyz is a HIV prevention program targeting young Black men between the ages of 13- 24, who have sex with men and their friends. The program’s approach to HIV prevention and intervention combines peer-to-peer informal outreach, social marketing activities, skills-building and leadership development and social events and activities to promote safer sex and foster a healthier community.

HIV/AIDS Prevention and Education Services Capacity Building Assistance Fact Sheet

NYAC, in partnership with CDC/DHAP, is a provider of capacity building assistance (CBA) services for community based organizations providing HIV/AIDS prevention and education services to young people.  With a specific emphasis on organizations providing services to young men who have sex with men (YMSM) and transgender youth of color, and LGBTQ youth.

This fact sheet contains more information on the capacity building assistance NYAC is providing through our partnership with CDC.
